Music for your wedding is SO IMPORTANT, I can’t stress that enough.  Please, all brides out there!!!!! spend some quality time putting your music list together with your fiance.  This is crucial for your D.J. or band.  Most couples wait to put this together, then sort of run out of time to put thought  into this task.  Also, make sure you know what type of D.J.  or band you are hiring.  Unless you like surprises………..  if you don’t check references and or see them in action, you might be surprised the day of your wedding and hopefully pleasantly surprised but it could be unpleasantly surprised!  About a month ago, while coordinating an event and hired for the day of.  The D.J. who apparently was at a “5″ level of performance (I believe high energy).   On his own, without following the couples’ agenda, had the court play musical chairs in the middle of the dance floor.  Then, for the toss bouquet and garter toss, he spun the bride and groom until they couldn’t stand on their feet.  I wanted to literally choke the D.J.   This to me was not high energy! this was so unprofessional and most of all the bride and groom had not approved this and this was not part of the plans for their wedding!!!!  Unfortunately,  this couple only hired us for the day of and they hired all of the vendors on their own   ………… this is why hiring a wedding planner who can bring legitimate, professional vendors for your wedding is so important.   As always……………… Happy Planning!!!
