Hi Everyone!!! My name is Shannon and I am 28 years old. I currently reside in a small town in Central Jersey called Highlands. We live about 1 mile from the beach. My fiance Anthony is a general manager/ executive chef for a large food service company and I am an office manager at a financial firm. I have an absolutely wonderful 5 year old boy named AJ. In my spare time I love to shop, go to the beach, visit NYC and spend quality time with friends and family.

How We Met…
After finally getting over a really bad relationship my mom insisted that I sign up for an online dating site. I was pretty resistant at first but I guess I had nothing to loose. After a month of searching I came across this profile that really caught my eye. Anthony just seemed to be so down to earth and genuine. After a couple weeks of chatting he took me out on the most amazing first date ever. So I guess the online thing really does work lol!!!

The Proposal…
As a little girl I grew up going to Traverse City, MI for family vacations every summer. Last year the family decided it was time to take a trip back. It was the 4th of July and we were all sitting out by the lake watching the fireworks. Anthony asked me if I was having fun and I said definately, in return I wanted to make sure he was having a good time and he responded “only one thing would thing would make this vacation better, would you marry me?” Well of course I said yes and here we are now planning our big day!!!

My Big Day…
Every little girl dreams of the big day!!! Especially me. I have always wanted a big wedding. I want flowers and candles to illuminate the whole room. I want the food and music to be great. I just want everyone to have a great time!!!

This is what you do to make sure your girl says yes!!!! How can she turn you down when you have hundreds of people asking for her hand in marriage? What we love about this is also the diversity of people cooperating in this event LOVE is awesome

One of my most favorite people (living) is Angelina Jolie. She gives of herself and acts on her beliefs which many human being do not! Kudos to her for actually doing something (actually a lot) for the world and not just talking about it or using it to add to her notoriety. For all Brides out there, You want your make up to look as natural as Angelina’s for your wedding. Her beauty is always accented and Angelina’s features are always there. Don’t make yourself up to the point where you don’t even look like yourself for your wedding…….. you won’t be happy with your memories!

A Fairytale Wedding Gets New Site

A Fairytale Wedding is proud to announce our new website. You may see some color changes over the next few days, but the site structure is pretty much done and we’re excited! Instead of having a separate site and blog, we’ve combined them. Now we have a consistent, easy to use menu, across all our pages.

Larger photos display on our front page. We have Social icons on the top right of every page for our Twitter, Facebook and Myspace pages, as well as a quick e-mail link. To the right of our menu, is a search icon (magnifying glass) that lets you search ALL of our pages.
